Tax Planning
Tax planning looks at your financial plan from a tax angle, so that every part of it works together as tax-efficiently as possible, within the law.
Tax-efficient, all year round
Tax planning is an important part of any financial plan. Reducing your tax liability and making full use of eligible investments are both key to success. It isn't just about cutting your tax bill: it helps you save through the right investments.
We make it a top priority to first calculate your tax liability, then look for ways to save tax while you work towards your financial goals. We look for savings throughout the year, not just at the end of it.
With so many tax-saving options available, we examine them carefully and bring you the ones that best improve your post-tax return, so you can live a stress-free life.
The right choice depends on you
Tax planning differs from person to person. Compare two popular options:
National Savings Certificate (NSC)
Your investment qualifies for a tax deduction, but the interest you earn is taxable. It has a fixed 5-year term.
Public Provident Fund (PPF)
Your investment qualifies for a tax deduction, and the interest and maturity amount are tax-free. It has a 15-year term, with partial withdrawals allowed from the 7th year.
So which is better? It depends on when you need the money and how you are taxed. Note that deductions under Section 80C (for PPF, NSC, ELSS and others) are available only under the old tax regime. We help you compare both regimes and choose what suits you.
